Kidney Pain In The Morning

Dunhill Selección No. 1 (Early 1960s / Pre embargo)

The last weeks have been both intense and very moving for me with BD 09/10 (BD in this case birth date ;-)) our son's family fortune enriched. With my passion for long term storage / Vintage cigars of course it would be great if my son is also interested in the appropriate age designed for cigars.
This month I have chosen as "cigars couple" for the rarity of the above-mentioned forum thread Montecristo Dunhill Selección No.1 from the early 1960s (presumably pre embargo). These come from a 50 Cabinet. Unfortunately, no Monte Cristo cigars are made in the cabinet anymore. About matured as Monte Cristo No. 2 in a Cabinet would certainly please many aficionados. The Dunhill Selección series there was only until 1982 because the contract entered with respect to the Dunhill brand, from the time in force.

At a wine tasting in Burgenland, I have followed the event, even longer with the wine (which I knew already) and talk again, many similarities between wine and cigars disclosed. In terms of (long term) storage, cover many of my approaches for cigars with those for wine. The wineries in contrast to the majority of Austrian wines, older estimates the conversation has enriched further. By the way, I found including a very good red wine with a nice storage potential. So I have some stored by this and other interesting wines for the long term storage as a private reserve on site and some vintage bottles are likely to come. I am happy about this "friendship" as professional as constant conditions are maintained.
