opinion of the RCF for terrorism and monitoring problems:
December 2010
At this year's second working meeting of the RCF, we dealt with the problem that follows from the fight against terrorism and the simultaneous over-sized development of security policy. We consider our results in the form set of 10 theses:
1) We demand an international investigation into the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, these are the central justification for the fight against terrorism, until now in two wars against Afghanistan and Iraq has done.
2) We support any efforts to explore the causes of terrorism and how we might contribute to the rise of terrorism with our actions.
3) We stand for a customized security policy, this shall not relate to the basic human rights such as freedom of speech (eg censorship) and safety of their own property (for example, state online searches), directed nor be less than the guise of fighting terrorism against its own people and preservation of the existing corrupt power structure be used.
4) We have a definitive shift away from retention, according to the official crime statistics from the Federal Criminal Police Office, they are superfluous, and to also unconstitutional.
5) We are an independent, non-hysterical coverage call about possible threats to internal security from terrorist attacks, they should also pay attention to the causes of terrorism.
6) We see the potential of selective manipulation of public opinion by deliberately made Fear of terrorism.
7) A transparency on the need for various security policies of the Federal Government, is about the cost and the profiteers of this security policy is necessary and desirable ..
8) We call for an international digital human rights charter that protects freedom of expression and political participation through the Internet makes possible, but at the same time preserves the safety of the people.
9) Misuse of the Internet is not censored and barriers to To end it needs binding rules for the protection of minors on the Internet and be deleted if necessary, the page must, in consultation and of the ruling of an independent court.
10) Mark We want all these points, including at international and continental level to be observed and that an international implementation (eg through international courts, international organizations and international regimes for network policy and global security ) is necessary.
This opinion of the Red Christian group has a no claim to completeness, but want to be with their various suggestions, a constructive contribution to the current debate.
The Red Christian Group sees potential in the implementation of their theses, that this also results in a new way of dealing with alleged Western democracies, with the corrupt power structure and to an appropriate safety and power politics.
The Red Christian group calls on this topic, discussions between all concerned parties and transparency in this joint process. We see this as the only and most reasonable path to a secure, constitutional world!
